While we’re smoking on the balcony, she gets a notification about a delivery she needs to go downstairs to pick up. Just as she leaves to get it, her annoying boyfriend—who happens to be bald—comes out of the bathroom wearing nothing but a towel. He came over to talk to me, and the bald guy—who I’d thought was ugly for years—suddenly started looking attractive; I had to hook up with him before my friend arrived, so to buy myself a little more time, I called her and sent her to the store.
